CCM use instructions for the TEST BEAM run

Normal data taking (beam particles, LED pulser, pedestals):

Click on the CCM Server icon on the desktop.
The CCM DIM server V1.0 window should open.
This window automatically initializes both RBX.

(Initialization consists of setting the clock to the TTCrx source, resetting the FE modules, loading the CCA's with the appropriate data followed by the generation of a Beam Zero pulse to sync the FE modules.)

The window should display the following:

Depending upon the selection (Normal, Minimized, Hidden) in the box labeled Startup Window the CCM DIM server may disappear or become minimized.

This is all that is needed to prepare the RBX for data taking!

Calibration mode (radioacive source scans only):

Click on the CCM Client icon on the desktop.
A CCM Client V2.0 window should open.

This window will display the Status of the RBX that is selected. If you want to view the status of the other RBX than click on the tab RBX1 or RBX2.

The T# readings is the temperature of the Readout Modules in degrees Celsius, T CCM is the temperature in the CCM unit. V1 and V2 are the fused representation of the voltage that is present on the RBX backplane.

The box that is in the lower left hand corner is for future use.

This client window can be used to ReInitialize both RBX's or to set them to Calibration mode.

The operation that will be performed depends on which button was clocked: Reinitialize RBX's or Run File at RBX's button (Calibration mode). The red check mark will show what was performed last. Reinitialize will perform the same tasks as the original initialization. Run File at RBX's will send the file in the pull down menu to the RBX's (only one option is available: Calibration_mode_Peds_77h.slb).

Do not change the name, add file or delete file!!!

Calibration mode will set the clock to the TTCrx source, reset the FE modules, load the CCA's with a pedestal DAC value of 7 and set them to calibration mode. A Beam zero signal will than sync the RBX's.

Initialization or calibration is done to both RBX's simultaneously!

The CCM Server window will pop back up giving an overview of what is happening similar to the above text. The CCM Server or the CCM Client window can be closed or minimized.
